About Japanese Curries

Curries are some of the most popular and authentic Japanese food recipes in Japan, although few people outside of the island are aware of it. But the truth is that almost every region of the country has its own take on curry, with every single one of them bursting with spices and flavor.

Japanese curries differ from Indian, Thai and other curries in several important ways, with the most apparent being they usually include roux as a base and are served with pickled vegetables on the side.
